The photos in this set come from a weekend session during the cool season in northeast Thailand. This was an at-home shoot, which lets me be completely relaxed and natural. I wanted to give my fans a taste of what life looks like for a Isaan woman when the camera comes out. I always try to make each set different from the last so there's always something new to discover.
I'm Aom Da Body, born and raised in Udon Thani, right in the heart of Isaan. If you don't know Isaan, it's the northeastern part of Thailand, known for sticky rice, som tum, friendly people, and a slower pace of life compared to Bangkok. Growing up here shaped who I am. Isaan girls are known for being warm, hardworking, and down to earth, and I'd say that fits me pretty well. Udon Thani isn't a huge tourist city, but it has its own charm, good food, great night markets, and people who smile at you just because.
